I think you're underestimating her success quite a lot :lol: Obviously she's in no way as big as Beyoncé but also not some one-hit wonder that you're making her out to be. :P

She is the equivalent of someone like Natasha Bedingfield.

That is to say, she had big era (many many years ago) with dwindling success and next to zero relevance ever since.

For sure, nobody could care less about a "surprise release" from this kind of artist.

All of her other lead singles are easily a 10/10, FFTL is one of those undeniably amazing 11/10 songs, classic. Crazy Stupid Love would be about a 3 :lol:

The Tinie verse is just so unnecessary.

The song is boring too but I get what they were going for. In a way it works. I agree it almost NEEDS a remix though. It's so sparse, I feel it would be a lot better with an extra production element but I'm not sure what.

Interesting Iggy's 'Fancy' is shaping up to be a HUGE hit in the US.

I wonder if the UK will follow suit. Up till now she has easily gained most of her worldwide success from here.

Yeah, see it really hurts me to think of any of those top 3 as dance anthems :P They're cheesy pop tracks destined to be played at wedding parties and school discos, in the same way 'Barbie Girl' isn't a dance anthem. They're considered 'dance' simply because they have a stronger beat than those did a few years ago.

 

But then I consider 'Titanium' and 'Wake Me Up' as legit, and there's a lot in there I really couldn't make up my mind about. If we cut out anything made after 2008, we'd only have this list:
