Whats the context of the video?

He’s being filmed at a party or something by his mate. Or someone at least. Anyway, he’s been suspended now!

rotf.gif when he said this video better not get out...

I mean this shouldn't come as a shock or surprise to anyone given the PL refereeing standards/biases.

There’s a video on Twitter of him calling Klopp a C bomb, looks like it’s not long after the 7-2 Villa game in 2020.

While I do think in general Coote is just a terrible referee- this video was likely taken just before the 2-2 Everton derby in Oct 2020 and of course features a Mane goal disallowed where he’s a yard onside and the Pickford on VVD tackle.

It was after the Burnley game in July these comments were made, reportedly.

The timing of the leak is odd though. This could have come out ages ago.. I thought he was terrible on Saturday but for both teams and a total lack of consistency.. the no foul signal for the Salah one was a joke though.

Seems to be this video comes from 2020 though.. I think it’s the Villa game though or around then, as the context of the video looks after we put in a terrible performance and when he mentions “in lockdown”, looks like some time may have passed. I reckon this was after the 7-2 Villa game and taken before the Everton game.

The Football Association has launched its own investigation into the video that appears to show Premier League referee David Coote using foul language to describe former Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp.

Coote has already been suspended by refereeing body Professional Game Match Officials Limited (PGMOL) pending a full investigation.

What do Salah's numbers look like against Fernando Torres and Luis Suarez? Of course those are two prolific strikers when they were in the form of their life in a Liverpool shirt, and I just have to know statistically how far ahead of them Salah must surely be by now?

I don’t know the stats off hand but he’s 4th top scorer of all time now taking over Billy Liddell this weekend there. Both Torres and Suarez had a lot shorter careers at the club so he’s bound to be ahead of them!

If only Salah had scored in the Fulham game he would have broken Vardy's record for scoring in consecutive match.

Definitely feels like a huge win today, that's the first 90th minute win under Slot. We've been OK recently but our finishing has been really poor. Not even sure we're that good, but we're by far the most consistent. We'll definitely slip up, but Arsenal will too and a 6 point buffer is huge.

Long way to go yet though before Houdini says he wishes the season would just come to an end so we can all start afresh

Liverpool midfielder Stefan Bajcetic has completed a loan switch to Las Palmas until the end of the season.

Bajcetic spent the first half of the current campaign with Austrian club RB Salzburg, making 19 appearances, including six in the Champions League.

The 20-year-old has now departed Salzburg and sealed a temporary move to La Liga side Las Palmas for the remainder of the campaign.

Bajcetic has played 22 games and scored one goal for the Reds since making his senior debut back in August 2022.

Was out for the whole season last year pretty much due to a growth spurt. Seems to be a bit of a Liverpool thing as we've had a few players suffer with that. I imagine he'll ultimately be sold on as a cash cow, but we'll see. He did OK at Salzburg by all accounts.

Yep Thursday! We will go full strength then likely see a good bit of rotation for the Plymouth game. Our schedule at the moment is pretty good and we’ve a a fully fit squad outside of Trent.
