My 40 Singles Of The Week



Early this week as i wont have time to do it tomorrow A non-mover at number 1 this week for Jamelia "Beware Of The Dog" as she now matches the 2 week no.1 success of "Something About You". Holding off tough competition from Sugababes with "Easy" as they spend another week at no.2 and also enter the top 20 YTD chart just behind their last single "Follow Me Home". As for Jamelia, she enters the top 10 YTD chart not far behind Maria Lawson.

As for the rest of the chart, the top 5 is pretty static this week with only new entry being at 5 from George Michael & Ex-Sugababe Member Mutya Buena with their duet "This Is Not Real Love". Other new entries inside the top 10 come from Madonna (#09) & Janet Jackson (#10). In the top 20 theres a new peak for My Chemical Romance as they climb upto #17. The only new entry is from Nylon with "Closer" which just misses the top 25. 2 Re-Entries this week come from Lily Allen (#38) & JoJo (#24).
