I think my 18 this month is likely to go to a country that I don't believe I will ever have given top points to before.
I'm really struggling to connect with the contest this month - I can't really get behind my own entry so that doesn't help, I think it's among my least favourites I've ever sent and I'm still kicking myself for forgetting to reconfirm. But overall I don't feel like I'm particularly connecting with many other entries either for some reason. |

From first impressions I have to agree this month is pretty weak tbh, especially my semi, I don't know if I heard 10 songs at the listenthrough that I want to vote for - but as ever I am planning to do another listenthrough so hopefully there'll be a good number of growers. |

Voted! I agree, not the best semi-final ever. Initially I only loved one song in it, but the second listen led me to a few big growers, so I'm quite happy with a solid top four and I liked six more songs too, so that was enough for 10 to point.
Not checked the other semi as yet, but will get round to it before the semi results. |

Done a listen through and drafted votes, will re-listen after work to make sure I’m happy and then I’ll send them in!

Did my vote appear on the google form? I see you've added some voters today but I'm not on the list and I voted yesterday.

Interesting to hear Nightflight To Venus after all this time, I remember back in the day Frederik Kempe was said to have lifted the drum pattern from it for Eric Saade's Popular, and I completely hear that, it's identical.
Very different to Boney M's big hits too. |

Very different to Boney M's big hits too. The original is 'Dance With The Devil' by Cozy Powell apparently (though not 100% clear if it is actually a sample or just a ripoff). |
